Celebrate with Providence Eye as we congratulate Dr. Reza Mozayeni on his achievement in being voted one of Charlotte’s top doctors of 2013 in Charlotte Magazine.
For several years, Charlotte Magazine has surveyed licensed area physicians as a way to determine the top doctors in the local Charlotte area. The 2013 results are in and Dr. Mozayeni has been chosen as one of Charlotte’s highly regarded doctors - one of the top 7% or so, to be more precise. Dr. Mozayeni is one of five ophthalmologists named and is the only LASIK specialist and only solo practitioner.
To collect the survey results, Charlotte Magazine mailed a link to area physicians for the online survey. All doctors who completed a survey had to be licensed in the Cabarrus, Gaston, Mecklenburg, and Union counties, according to the North Carolina Medical Board. No practitioners were allowed to vote for themselves and were asked to disregard hospital, clinic and health care affiliations when nominating a peer. The main goal was to assess who the doctors themselves would recommend in the hypothetical situation that a loved one or family member needed medical attention. Dr. Mozayeni will be honored at the Top Doctors awards celebration on Thursday, July 25th at the Palmer Building in uptown Charlotte. He is looking forward to attending the celebration so he can personally congratulate others who are best in their field as well.
